Eating Ramen - Traditional Way!

My Summary of this morning: My hairdryer ate my hair - it hurt as hell and now I have to throw away the hair dryer AND a stand of my hair is now about 20cm shorter than it was before. I am not in a good mood.

That only happens when I want to let my hair grow out doesn't it, ugh.

Today *takes look at the clock* Well, Yesterday, 2 of my friends and I went to Düsseldorf again - first time in ages! Lou is already comfortable walking around there with me, through the japanese stores and all, but Eva was there for the very first time... I think I kinda shocked her? :D

She was fascinated because...Japanese x'D

We went to eat lunch at Takumi's, and it was great. I didn't notice they even had a traditional Japanese table there, until I read it on someone else's blog, and now we've been seated there! 

It was really funny, I never sat on a traditional japanese table and ate there (and their Ramen are just the best really *.*)

It was really delicious, though I choose salt Miso, just to try it out and... it was really salty!
Better take something else next time!

Eva and Lou both had Chicken Teriyaki Ramen & Mango Juice!

My mother was all shocked when I told her a ramen costs ~12€,

but really you get so much for it, you're full without eating up, and it's really nice!

After finishing Lunch we all went to the Japanese Garden- to take my OOTD pictures ♥

Cherry yum yum! || Visit to the Archaeological Muesum [Very Picture Heavy]

So ofc, I am still going on with my baking challenge, and here are 

my lovely cherry cupcakes from Saturday~ 

I also went to the Archaeolgical Museum that day, I was allowed to take picuters, at least at one part of it. 

The other part was a sepcial exhibition about skulls, so the more interesting part, 

but it was forbidden to take photos in there, unfortunately. 

I loved this exhibition, idk I have something with skulls, their fascinating.

They had a glass skull (google that, there's interesting myths concerning the end of the world about it) and a crystal skull, asian skulls, african skulls, european skulls, american skulls, adult skulls, phetus skulls, A LOT about different cultures and how they either prayed to skulls for help from the gods or feared them, some cultures build houses for skulls, some decorated huge bottles with them, others tattooed them and used them as sign for victory. Reeeeeally interesting!

But as I said, only pictures of the normal exhibition.

Bones from neanderthals, ans acessories from romans, etc etc!

The text is talking about a volcano that erupted in the Eiffel in 10 966 BC.

Because of that the whole area was covered with a 50meters layer of stone.

There was so much lava that the river Rhein became a lake for some time!

This was so small like, probably a pinky fingernail? Not much bigger really.

Romans were amazing!

This was a roman well. After they left their camp they burned it down completely, and threw dead animals, dirt, screws, and all kinds of stuff into the well, which made it unusable for others. It was so their enemies couldn't use it for themselves!

Deformed Skull of a European Woman.

When the Huns came to Europe, some kind of beauty ideal came as well - the skull form, a very long skull. Girls skulls were deformed with bandages so they'd become longer! 

Part of the laboratory they put up to show how it's all done in archaeology.

They have microscopes and all set up there, and you can try things out yourself, and everything is well explained, for example anthropology or the radiocarbon dating method!

Well, It's been snowing a lot here recently, so I went out and took my camera along a few times this and the last week!

Sunday update ♪~

Yesterday's baking project:

Lemoncurd Baiser Cupcakes
(without lemoncurd. I used Lemon marmelade.
Doesn't tase as nice as lemoncurd, but try finding that in germany! D:)

I will never be able to bake according to reciepe - there's always ingredientes I can't get

*sigh*

But hey, these looked really nice don't they?

And they were so tasty.... if you like lemon, that is.

I also bought a wireless remote release for my camera! 

(So expensive these things if you buy them in a camera shop. should've buyed it online ugh.)

But I'm happy I now got one :)

MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Everyone's posting lovely coords today, hahah I can't I'm running round in nothing more than tights and a shirt, nothing to show off (except maybe my super duper cute christmas panties with snowflakes on them. ☆)

Aaaaaanyways, Today my mom and her boyfriend spend the whole day with me, and we cooked and baked a lot!

I made another set of baiser, this time it worked MUCH better than last time, probably because I took a look at my watch for once! ;D

I really think they look better than the last ones.

The main sweet I got to bake today were not the Baisers though, no, it was something different. And muuuuch sweeter. (Just ugh the amount of sugar in it...)

Uhm, back to Christmas, yea? :3 

Mom, her boyfriend and I had Raclette for lunch!

I didn't have this in years and it was greaaaat omnomnomnom! *_*

After that, we gave each other our presents.

Because my mom had some problems in her job and I already got a phone earlier this year, I didn't get very much, but I am still happy about what I got because it was given to my with love! (I'm getting a little cheesy here^^)

And my mom's boyfriend, he's just the cutest ever!

When my mom asked if I properly said thank you, he replied with yes, and she asked, in fun, ofc, if i have kneeled down and thanked him and he was like "No, she did something better, she hugged me!" Because it means a lot to him that I accept him as my mothers boyfriend, that was sooo adorable, really.

And then we all watched the Big Bang Theory marathon and were happy all together.

It was a really nice christmas eve, really <3 

I wish I knew the next days were gonna be this nice, but since I'll spend thim with the 'wrong' part of my family, who knows~~~

I hope everyone else had a nice christmas eve as well! Tis the season to be jolly, after all!

Halloween

So, I think i should actually update this blog again! yay! :D
I kno it's been quite a while since Halloween, but I put so much effort into my make-up, and I looked horrific, so I reckon I should actually upload some pics here! :D

I was a dead school girl, if it's not obvious enough^^;;

I went to the party with the mask on and everyone was like "Boo boring!" 

And then I took it off and

BAM!

Oh and also, the weekend before Halloween I went to visit my lovely cousins, because they had a pre-Halloweenparty in her town!
